 Glenn D. Short holds a Masters Degree in Counseling,  an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) is a National Certified counselor (NCE) and is Certified in Emotional Intelligence through EI Learning Systems Inc.  Mr. Short also holds Certification in the QMQ and Trimetrics assessment through Life Thrive Performance Systems.  He has been involved with mental health and social services for over 28 years.   Mr. Short founded Applied Alternatives, LLC with the vision of developing programs that fall outside that of "typical".  He has written various programs that have succeeded in defining this vision. Mr. Short has developed parent programs for probation departments and Child Protective Services based on Emotional Intelligence.  He is currently working on a "Troubleshooting manual for personal growth" based on EI, Trust dynamics, values, motivation  and  individual intentionality. Mr. Short  is currently a Lecturer in the Graduate Studies Counseling program at Sul Ross State University.
